Here’s a recipe for a delicious and juicy pork roast using Hot Diggity Pepper Company’s tropical sweet heat sauce:

Tropical Sweet Heat Glazed Pork Roast

Ingredients:

3 lbs pork roast (like a pork shoulder or pork loin)
1 cup Hot Diggity Pepper Company’s tropical sweet heat sauce, plus extra for glazing
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
1 tablespoon olive oil
Juice of 1 lime
Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions:

In a bowl, mix together 1 cup of the tropical sweet heat sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, olive oil, and lime juice.

Season the pork roast with salt and pepper, then pour the marinade over the pork, ensuring it is well-coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, but ideally overnight.

Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).

Transfer the pork to a roasting pan, reserving the marinade for basting.

Roast the pork in the preheated oven for about 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches at least 145°F (63°C). Baste with the reserved marinade every 30 minutes.

During the last 15 minutes of cooking, brush the pork generously with more of the tropical sweet heat sauce, then finish roasting.

Let the roast rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the roast.

Slice and serve the pork, drizzling with any pan juices and a bit more of the tropical sweet heat sauce, if desired. Garnish with fresh cilantro.

This flavorful pork roast would be fantastic served with some roasted sweet potatoes and a fresh pineapple slaw on the side for a complete meal!
